The far-left Ace is very difficult to hit from any flipper, even the top one. Use the upper flipper to knock down the Ace and Joker targets.The Queen target bank resets after completion, allowing continuous scoring from this area.The Queens are the easiest (and best) targets to hit for high scores.These new electronics (the Pascal board, for you pinheads out there) give this game features that the original hardware was not capable of such as a Skill Shot, attract mode lighting, blinking inserts and even a ball saver! What a terrific game! Remember to use the third flipper (located high on the playfield) to help you get those Aces! Our Joker Poker has a lot of nice features, like a perfect backglass and the updated electronics set behind it. The “hands” are a single “10 High”, a pair of Jacks, three Queens, 4 Kings and 4 Aces plus the Joker. Will have to look at my manual when I get home.If you like drop targets, you’re going to LOVE Joker Poker, a beautiful classic Gottlieb pinball machine. That might not make any sense though in the context that you are blowing 4 fuses. Two coils on that assembly, correct? You might try just unhooking one at a time and seeing what happens (I'm grasping at straws here). On the drops, do the fuses blow as the machine is going thru the start-up phase? I think you are going to have to dig into the mech, look for shorted wires, broken diodes, etc. Also, on my machine, i was able to stick my index finger into the outhole and kind of flick the ball around on the switch and it would eventually be recognized.you might see if you witness any similar behavior. (I assume you have verified your coil is good, wiring OK, etc. The machine would register when the ball drained to the outhole, but wouldn't sit firm enough on the switch to recognize the ball there. On the outhole kicker - I had a similar problem.

The single connector I did not repin (one of the display connectors) started getting flakey on me within a couple months and I had to repin that one too and it fixed 100% of my issues. I was getting coils refusing to fire and other wierd crap. Honestly, 'checking and cleaning' the edge connectors didn't work for me.
